Swedish Society for Nature Conservation (SSNC) led ProOrganic Project aims to familiarize organic production and consumption in the state of Rajasthan. Under the project, the component of Action Research to collect evidences about ground realities of organic consumption and production in the state was entrusted to Vimarsh by CUTS.

"The objective of this project is to create an overall Development of the Project Area by adopting Integrated Approach. Gram Sabha, Gram Panchayat, Watershed Committee members, Watershed Development Team members and village community at large.
The training camps were held across the state of Punjab to spread awareness regarding relevance and importance of user groups and watershed committees
Vimarsh organized several exposure cum training visits to enhance learning of the particpants in lessons such as Community Mobilization, Roles and Responsibilities of Watershed Committee and village community, adoption of low cost technology from successful watersheds outside Punjab."

Vimarsh undertook this project to prepare a detailed Project Report (DPR) for the Integrated Watershed Management Projects. A DPR is expected to include and capture all the relevant data in the beginning itself and document the same. It is also expected to include needs of watershed community and corresponding interventions under various components in an effort to ensure successful implementation of the project and in creating infrastructure and enabling sustainable quality service delivery.

Vimarsh undertook this study with the objective to carry out an impact assessment of Watershed projects under various schemes such as Integrated Watershed Development Programs (IWDP), National Watershed Development Programs in Rain fed Areas (NWDPRA), Integrated Watershed Management Program in the state of Punjab.

The objective of this project is to build capacity of the community followed by continuum of awareness/knowledge development, Social/Organizational/Management skills development and Technical skills development. This underscores the whole process of community capacity building and links it with the institutional strengthening for effective local level governance.

The main objective of the program was to provide entrepreneurship training to rural youth for successful business development and management.

"The project aimed at reducing malnutrition amongst 0-6 year old children and infant mortality in the State. The vehicle used was the on-going ICDS programme which was to be strengthened to achieve programme objectives. Behavioral change and adoption of good child bearing and rearing practices of care providers was one of the key objectives of the project to be achieved through design and implementation and management of effective communication strategies.
Vimarsh developed a behavior change communication strategy based on formative research amongst identified population segments and an implementation plan with corresponding budget."

"Vimarsh assisted the Government of Rajasthan in formulating a Women and Child Development Project with assistance from the World Bank.
VIMARSH developed the ICDS - III PIP for Department of Women & Child Development, Rajasthan. This plan incorporated several pilots and an operational research initiative. Innovative and need based management structures were designed for implementation of Integrated Child Development Project - III in Rajasthan. The proposed management of public and private institutions provided both stability and flexibility. It was the best PIP out of 5 states covered under ICDS-III. "

"Vimarsh successfully completed 7 operational research studies for World Bank Assisted ICDS-III programme in Maharashtra under the following headings:
• To study prevalence of Anemia among adolescent girls with focus on food habits and availability of iron-rich dietary sources in tribal blocks of Maharashtra under World Bank assisted ICDS-III project.
• Study the Acceptance & Need Assessment study of WB assisted ICDS-III project for under-3 children by the community in tribal, rural and urban areas.
• Study the existing system of distribution of supplementary nutrition, its quality, acceptability and need for alternative cost effective system in WB assisted ICDS-III project in Maharashtra.
• Study on Strengthening the Existing Healthcare Delivery System under WB assisted ICDS-III project in Maharashtra.
• Evaluation Study of Pre-school activities of AWCs under Convergence Mode with Primary Education Programme (DPEP) in WB assisted ICDS-III project in Maharashtra.
• Development of Communication Strategy/Plans & Formative Research in WB assisted ICDS-III project in Maharashtra.
• Study on Mal-nutrition Deaths in tribal districts in Maharashtra under WB assisted ICDS-III project."
