Narrative Description of Project

“The project has the following objectives:
• To understand and investigate the “Primitive Tribal Group (PVTG) in the key development aspects of life i.e social, economic and cultural.
• Analysis of physical and financial performance of the focus schemes in the state.
• To understand the sustainability of the services rendered and assets created and its implication on success of activities chosen under the schemes.
• Study the present socio economic status of PVTG or establish base line data for future monitoring
• Formulation of comprehensive plans, separately for each PVTG namely Baiga, Sahariya and Barla, with detail activity mapping for their conservation and sustainable development on the basis of requirement assessed through field visits, group discussions with villagers and stakeholders, NGOs and Government officials and through conducting sample survey of households.”
