Narrative Description of Project

“The study was conducted to seek health behavior of the population in different district of Rajasthan.
The objectives of the study were :
• To know the health seeking behaviour of the people, which system of medicine is preferred, which source of treatment is availed, whether seeking of treatment depends on the distance of the medical unit from residence.
• To study whether the man/woman preferes the same system of medicine, whether sex of the patient makes any difference in acceptance of system of medicine.
• To study the pattern of sickness among the people, including assessment of frequency of sickness, type of illness (diseases), duration of illness, cost of treatment, source of treatment etc.
• To study/assess knowledge and practice of child care
• To assess knowledge, attitude and practice of people about family planning and its methods”
