Narrative Description of Project

“The objective of this study was to :
1) Collect health, population and infrastructure data in Uttar Pradesh (at state and district level)
2) Collect data from Census, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and Lucknow and other cities and district headquarter in UP
3) Identify demographic factors at district level (population, density, male/female literacy rate, sex ratio, level of fertility, total fertility rate, infant mortality rate, level of contraceptive use
4) Identify Family planning public infrastructure characteristics (quantity of hospitals, PHCs, medical/Para-medical professionals, ANMs, LHVs
5) Identify Family planning private infrastructure characteristics (NGOs, contraceptive social marketing sites, pharmacies, railways).”
